Rozhen Monastery

Rozhen Monastery “Nativity of the Mother of God” is one of the largest and well-preserved medieval monasteries in Bulgaria. It is located among the beautiful hills near Melnik and offers a breathtaking view of the Pirin Mountains. Founded in the 13th century, the monastery is an important spiritual and cultural center, famous for its frescoes and ornate iconostasis.
